Too much and not enough to say

I've apparently gotten too much out of the habit of blogging, because although I've barely written in the past several weeks, and I've been constantly busy during those weeks, I can't think of much of anything to say at the moment... at least not without writing an entire novel that no one would have time to read, and that I really don't have time to write if I want to sleep anytime in the next few days. LOL

So just a quick one tonight. I saw this quiz over on Jen's blog and thought I'd see how it turned out for me.

What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The Midland

"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.

I actually grew up in west-central Illinois and now live outside of Dallas (have for 16 years), so I guess it's pretty accurate. Only once that I recall have I ever had someone tell me I had an accent. That was a while after I had moved down here, but I had been travelling tons for work, so I wasn't actually here much at all. I was out in Rhode Island to visit a friend, when a parking lot attendant gave me the third degree about it. LOL I'm thinking I must have still had a bit more midwestern flavor in my voice back then. :-b
